How to relieve skin fatigue?

Fatigue of the skin is seen as the dull skin tone uneven, rough texture, visible pores, age spots, dry skin, fine lines and wrinkles, sagging and loose skin. This is due to aging of the skin. There are two distinct types of aging. Aging caused by the genes we inherit is called intrinsic aging procedure. The other type of aging is known as the external and extrinsic aging is caused by environmental factors such as exposure to sunlight. As we age, the rate of loss of old skin cells from the upper layer of the skin[stratum corneum]slows. The skin gradually becomes less translucent and does not retain water very well. All functions of the skin occur more slowly. Fibers of collagen and elastin begin to loosen. This intrinsic aging is also known as the natural process of aging. It is a continuous process that normally begins in our twenties.
Extrinsic aging occurs mainly due to ultraviolet radiation[UV]rays. Like most of us are exposed to the sun, the "damage" to the dermis can be seen through the skin dry as we age. "Photoaging" is the term dermatologists use to describe this type of aging caused by exposure to sunlight and occurs over a period of time. With repeated exposure to the sun, our skin loses its ability to repair itself, and the damage accumulates. Scientific studies have shown that repeated exposure to UV breaks down collagen and impairs the synthesis of new collagen. Other causes of fatigue of the skin are chemical pollutants, poor nutrition, hunger, diet, physical and mental stress, smoking, alcohol, poor sleep and lack of exercise.
Skin and nutrient
The skin is one of the most powerful indicators of health. The rate at which changes in our skin also depends on what we have inherited, how can we treat it and how to take care of it. Wrinkles, dry or oily skin, acne, inflammation and all signs of poor health, often caused by consumption of unhealthy foods and avoiding skin healthy nutrients.
Vitamins and minerals are necessary for healthy skin. Vitamin A to prevent dry, scaly skin, vitamin C, vitamin E and collagen to re-hydrate the skin, reduce inflammation and speed up the healing process.
* Minerals and antioxidants against free radicals and help maintain youthful skin.
* Proteins and biotin[found in liver, egg yolk, vegetables, whole grains and]are necessary for healthy hair and nails.
* Water, vegetables and fruits like watermelon, nuts, olive oil contain antioxidants. Fish such as salmon and mackerel contain omega-3 fatty acids. All these moisturize the skin.
* Colored berries such as strawberries, blackberries and raspberries, and oranges and carrots[containing beta-carotene]act as antioxidants and protect the skin from the sun.
* Fish with omega-3 fatty acids and proteins like chicken and lean meat, and flax seeds are known to prevent fine lines and wrinkles.
Avoid smoking as the smoke and tar deprive the skin of nutrients and oxygen and becomes dull and lifeless. They also form free radicals that weaken the fibers of collagen and elastin, which causes premature wrinkles.
